Project Scope




Project Overview


This design case focuses on addressing a specific information design problem. The problem chosen was the KronoX application for MDU.


KronoX is a scheduling and resource booking platform used within universities and higher education institutions. The system allows students to search for and add course or program schedules, as well as book resources such as group study rooms.



Objective


The primary objective of this project was to redesign the KronoX mobile application to create a more intuitive user experience that better meets the needs of its users, particularly students.



Design Process


A user-centered design approach was employed throughout this project. This process involved engaging with users at various stages to ensure that the redesign was aligned with their needs and expectations. Key activities in the process included user research, prototyping, usability testing, and iterative refinement based on feedback.



Outcome


The result is a redesigned KronoX application that offers a more intuitive interface and enhanced functionality, making it easier for students to manage their schedules and book resources efficiently. The new design aims to improve user satisfaction and overall engagement with the platform.
